The budgies are categorized into small tigers and big heads. And the big head parrot is included in the budgies, although they look alike, but there are still some differences in nature.
First is the difference in size. Macaws are larger parrots, usually larger, and as adults are as big as Gentoo parrots. Budgies, on the other hand, are medium-sized parrots and are much smaller than large-headed parrots.
Secondly, the character of the big-headed budgies is relatively dull and not very squawking, which gives a feeling of dorkiness. Budgies, on the other hand, are quite noisy parrot species and often emit high decibel calls.
Lastly, in terms of feeding space, large-headed parrots are larger in size and therefore require more space for feeding. Whereas budgies are small and like to live in groups, when keeping budgies at home, it is best to keep two budgies in one aviary so that they can keep each other company.
